Since 1973, CMIGS has been at the forefront of the precious metals industry. We understand that investing in precious metals is more than a financial venture; it’s a promise to safeguard your wealth. Along with a legacy of experience, CMIGS is committed to safe and secure business practices.
We invite you to review the following information and encourage you to reach out with any questions. Your financial future deserves the assurance and expertise that CMIGS has proudly offered for over half a century.
Because gold and silver prices change by the minute, all orders must be placed by telephone to lock prices in the prevailing market.
For buy orders, payment must be remitted the same day the order is placed.
For sell orders, the items sold must be shipped the same day.
Prices cannot be altered due to market changes after prices have been locked.
During periods of high volatility and for large orders, we may require funds to be on deposit with CMI before prices can be locked in.
To maintain our low premiums, we require a minimum purchase on transactions. Silver transactions require 100 ounces or more, and gold transactions require three or more ounces. Items can be combined to reach our minimums. Free shipping is included in all transitions. There are some instances where these minimums may not apply—see the shipping and handling section or speak to your broker for more details.
CMIGS offers the following payment options:
We aim to dispatch the product once the funds have been successfully processed. Please note that checks, including cashier’s checks, may require additional processing time. Refer to the estimated shipping release times provided below. We highly recommend wire transfers for the swiftest payment processing and subsequent shipping commencement, as shipping initiates immediately upon fund confirmation. It is advisable to consult your bank beforehand for any prerequisites or special considerations.
Payment by bank wire transfer means that your order can be shipped generally within 24 to 48 hours. However, payment by wire transfer means allowance must be made to send the wire before the wire cut-off time, which is 6:30 pm ET, 5:30 CT, 4:30 MT, and 3:30 PT at most banks. Many banks will not initiate wires less than thirty minutes before the wire cut-off time.
Shipping times may vary due to weekends and holidays.
When CMIGS receives payment, an email with the expected date of shipment is sent to the buyer. A copy of the invoice will be included in the shipment.
When an order is shipped, CMIGS emails the buyer and provides a tracking number and the expected delivery date.
For orders less than three (3) ounces of gold, platinum, or palladium and 100 ounces of silver, there is a $30 shipping, handling, and insurance fee. Shipping and handling are free for quantities over those, or otherwise stated on our Gold Specials Page and Silver Specials Page.
CMIGS takes every precaution to ensure your precious metals are delivered safely and securely. With over 50 years of experience, we have refined our shipping practices to your preferred address. All packages are shipped in non-descript packaging, with our company name removed from the exterior. Your precious metals are packed tightly and securely to prevent any movement that could cause damage during transit. We utilize state-of-the-art equipment to verify the accuracy of the product being shipped and received. We are transparent on all of our shipping, handling and insurance processes. Please let us know if you have any questions about our practices.

Orders are shipped by Registered, insured U.S. Mail or FedEx “Hold at Location.”
Large orders are sometimes shipped via armored car.
When orders are shipped, CMIGS emails the buyer. A tracking number is also provided, enabling the buyer to verify the date the carrier expects delivery.
Some products shipped to Hawaii and Alaska may require additional costs.
Unexpected delays because of shipper issues, such as unexpected weather, are always possible. In any event, customers can always rest assured because we fully insure all packages until the intended receiver signs for them. Please note that CMIGS is not responsible for packages that are not picked up within five days of delivery.
CMIGS is committed to ensuring client confidentiality in every aspect of the customer transaction. With over 50 years of fine-tuning our security measures, we have found various ways to keep packages and client information safe and secure. For added security, we do not put clients’ names on invoices or include our business name on the return address, providing more investment privacy and protecting them from record theft. This became policy in the mid-1970s as CMIGS pioneered the bullion precious metals industry in Phoenix, AZ.
At CMI, we recognize the importance of keeping precious metals transactions as private as possible; therefore, we require no 8-page account agreement to sign and no credit card or social security numbers to secure your trades.
We are happy to accommodate text messaging if this is your preferred method of communication.
To opt in, simply send a text message directly to the broker you are working with. You may opt-out at any time by replying with “STOP.”
While we are available for text communication, all trade executions must be completed by speaking directly with one of our non-commissioned brokers. We do not process trades through text messaging.

Bullion dealers rely on different sources or exchanges, which can lead to slight price variations. Several factors contribute to these variations, such as the frequency of updates, the specific price sources, calculation methods, future contracts, and market timing.
When investing in precious metals, comparing prices among various dealers is essential to ensure you get the best deal.
