Basically, the US exported its manufacturing base to China and other Third World countries. Therefore, we haven’t had inflation in the US. However, that is quickly coming to an end with the deficit spending that is proposed.

Is there any shred of integrity in any of those people?

I would have thought that inflation would be galloping by now, but it appears the underlying failure of the economy has slurped up much more than I figured. I am wondering if we are building up to a worldwide financial meltdown that will be unrecoverable in a civilized way.
